New Play Development
Along with fostering the development of the actor, Animus is committed to enhancing the development of the material that makes the actor’s job possible. In our New Play Development program, Animus gives playwrights the opportunity for a staged reading in a public forum as well as consideration for production as part of our upcoming season.

With that in mind, we offer our Professional Workshop series up to 4 times per year at an affordable cost to the actors who partake. These two-day workshops are led by some of the most impactful teachers and working actors in the industry, artists who share our commitment to the exercise and practice of what we do.
